Will John Kerry ever shut up?
First he insults the great men and women in the military, then insists it's all a "botched" joke. His apology was less then enthusiastic and hardly earnest.
Then he decides he will visit the troops in Iraq during his Middle East trip this week. And he thinks our troops are stupid? Believe me when I tell you that they are not looking forward to his visit.
Now, while visiting Egypt, he says that President Bush should talk to Syria and Iran. From Reuters:
"It's very important for countries to talk to each other, even when you disagree. We have serious differences with Syria right now, we have serious differencess with Iran, but you can't begin to resolve those differences if you're not willing to try to understand.. I think it's important to begin a discussion," said Kerry, a Massachusetts senator.
"Serious differences", huh?
Is that what you call it when these two countries are supporting the terrorists who are killing our troops in Iraq? Is that what you call it when Iran and Syria are threatening the peace of the entire region? When Iran pursues nuclear weapons while advocating the genocide of all Jews and westerners? "Serious differences"?
Talking is fine. Much better than war, in fact.
Here's my view of how the dialog should go: stop supporting terrorism and terrorists, stop pursuing nuclear weapons, stop pushing for all out war in the region, stop advocating genocide and stop killing our troops. If you don't, we'll bend you over and root you senseless. Period.
Iran has been doing this since they took our people hostage in 1980. We did nothing then and we're doing nothing now. And Syria's record with us isn't a whole lot better.
But aside from that, rest assured that Kerry is about one thing: Kerry. He is trying to make himself look "presidential" on the Middle East stage, so he takes a poke at the president on his Egypt visit. Then he says we should do what the White House says we will not: negotiate with Iran and Syria.
And he's not the only one, is he Bill Nelson? These two clowns are like the Dixie Chicks of the Democratic party. Run overseas and run your mouth. In direct contrast to stated U.S. policy. This is beyond politics and approaching treason.
And this right after the enemy has told us that they are trying to influence our elections. They want people like Nelson and Kerry in power. From Yahoo! News:
In a rare video message, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, a renegade Afghan warlord allied with the Taliban, claimed that American troops will be forced out of Afghanistan like the Soviets before them.
The leader of the Hezb-e-Islami militant group also touted the Republican Party defeat in last month's midterm elections as a victory for militants fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.
"It seems that every bullet that mujahedeen had fired toward the Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan has turned into a vote against Bush," Hekmatyar said in the undated video statement received by AP Television News in Pakistan.
"There is no doubt that is a great victory and success for Afghan and Iraqi mujahedeen," he said. "I am convinced that the fate Soviet Union faced is awaiting America as well."
More from WorldNetDaily:
"The report proves that this is the era of Islam and of jihad," said Abu Ayman, a senior leader of Islamic Jihad in the northern West Bank town of Jenin.
The Islamic Jihad terror group is responsible for every suicide bombing in Israel during the past two years.
"[With the Iraq Study Group report], the Americans came to the conclusion that Islam is the new giant of the world and it would be clever to reduce hostilities with this giant. In the Quran the principle of the rotation is clear and according to this principle the end of the Americans and of all non-believers is getting closer," Abu Ayman said.

"It is not just a simple victory. It is a great one. The big superpower of the world is defeated by a small group of mujahedeen (fighters). Did you see the mujahedeens' clothes and weapons in comparison with the huge individual military arsenal and supply that was carrying every American soldier?" exclaimed Abu Abdullah, who is considered one of the most important operational members of Hamas' Izzedine al-Qassam Martyrs Brigades, Hamas' declared "resistance" department.
"It is no doubt that Allah and his angels were fighting with them (insurgents) against the Americans. It is a sign to all those who keep saying that America, Israel and the West in general cannot be defeated on the ground so let us negotiate with them," Abu Abdullah said.
Abu Abdullah said following a withdrawal from Iraq, the U.S. will be defeated on its own soil.
This is what the Dems are doing with their most recent taste of power. But make no mistake, they are not acting in the best interests of the U.S.
