Wesley Clark Sells Out
I have nothing but respect for General Wesley Clark's service to this nation. I also respect the fact that he has his own opinions about ongoing military operations around the world, although his criticisms seemed largely muted while he was actually in uniform.
But now more than ever, it seems that he has pimped himself out to the far-Left and will say anything for a spot in Obama's cabinet, should he ever become POTUS (knocking on wood...).
Clark said that McCain lacked the executive experience necessary to be president, calling him “untested and untried” on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” And in saying so, he took a few swipes at McCain’s military service.
“He has been a voice on the Senate Armed Services Committee. And he has traveled all over the world. But he hasn't held executive responsibility. That large squadron in the Navy that he commanded — that wasn't a wartime squadron,” Clark said.
“I don’t think getting in a fighter plane and getting shot down is a qualification to become president.”
That's a cheap shot, of course, but there's an element of truth to it. But it makes you wonder how Clark finds Obama more qualified than McCain, doesn't it? If, according to Clark, McCain is unqualified due to a lack of leadership experience, then certainly Obama in unqualified to even be in the race, right? I mean, let's be honest here, General.
Now the Liberal nuts love Clark because he's one of the few senior military people who actually supports Obama and his surrender agenda, but he obviously could care less about things like honor and truth. Perhaps a few too many cocktails with Murtha...
