Just when you think the Liberals could sink no lower, Nancy Pelosi opens her mouth, yet again.
Well, the purpose of the surge was to provide a secure space, a time for the political change to occur to accomplish the reconciliation. That didn’t happen. Whatever the military success, and progress that may have been made, the surge didn’t accomplish its goal. And some of the success of the surge is that the goodwill of the Iranians-they decided in Basra when the fighting would end, they negotiated that cessation of hostilities-the Iranians.
Committed to surrender amid mounting successes in Iraq, the Liberal Congress, determined to get Barack "I'll meet with anyone except military commanders in Iraq" Obama elected, Pelosi has resorted to thanking Iran for the hundreds of American soldiers that they have killed.
Your Liberal "leaders" are putting every single American in danger for the sake of votes. No props to Gen Petraeus or the troops actually fighting and dying, mind you, just an acknowledgment of Iran's efforts at world peace.
Here's something else to consider; ABC News reports that Iran is in secret talks with al Qaeda regarding the release of several aQ operatives that were arrested there in 2003, among other things.
Although U.S. officials rarely talk publicly about them, these militants are considered to be among the most dangerous terrorists in the world.
Unfreakingbelievable. We're doomed..
