Dennis Kucinich, Adam Henry
Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio) is the prefect example of what is wrong with Congress and what is wrong with America. He is a charlatan, and the fact that this nut was allowed to run for the office of POTUS is terrifying.
Today, on the House floor, he said this (courtesy of Michelle Malkin, who has the videos):
The Center for Public Integrity, in a report, released today has found “The Bush administration led the nation to war on the basis of erroneous information that it methodically propagated and that culminated in military action against Iraq on March 19, 2003.” In short, the president and vice president lied and four thousand of our soldiers died. The president and vice president lied and a million innocent Iraqis died in a war that will cost us 2 trillion dollars while people here in the states are losing their jobs, their health care, their homes, their dignity. Lies are weapons of mass destruction. Lies are also an impeachable offense.
Monday Jan. 28 is the State of the Union. We already know the State of the Union. It’s a lie. We must reestablish truth as the State of our Union. So on that day I will introduce articles of impeachment concering our president.
If impeachment is off the table, truth is off the table. If truth is off the table then this house is living a lie.
The Bible says “Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” Let us once again be the Land of the Free by beginning the process that the founders understood will set us free and keep us free.
IMPEACHMENT!
He's referring to the George Soros-funded anti-war “study” that the Liberal-biased MSM has been waving all over the place of late (although they have failed to mention the part about who actually did the funding).
Then, after the little weasel had taken his cheap shot and the Republicans complained, he withdrew his remarks. Obviously, his plan was to have his pathetic diatribe heard and recorded to live eternally in the world of YouTube, knowing that he would have to apologize immediately afterwards.
In short, he was willing to sacrifice his "reputation" so that the Democratic party could take a free shot at the POTUS.
But, if he were a man of honor, a man of integrity, a man befitting public office, he would have stood by what he said. Then, at least, I would have respected the man for standing up for what he believes in, whether I agreed with it or not.
It really makes you wonder about the people of Ohio, doesn't it?
