'Tango' cell in New Jersey UPDATED
How many times are we going to be this lucky?
It seems that the six were reported to the FBI after making the bonehead move of the century. Three foreign-born U.S. citizens and three here illegally. Here's their info via Michelle Malkin:

OCCUPATION: Drives a cab in Philadelphia.

OCCUPATION: Operates Colonial Roofing and National Roofing, which list business address at the home of his brothers, Eljvir and Shain Duka.NAME: Shain Duka.
AGE: 26; Born January 1981 in the former Yugoslavia. Ethnic Albanian.
LIVES: Cherry Hill, N.J.
IMMIGRATION STATUS: In United States illegally.
OCCUPATION: Operates roofing businesses with his brothers.NAME: Eljvir Duka.
ALIASES: Elvis Duka, Sulayman.
AGE: 23; Born in the former Yugoslavia. Ethnic Albanian.
LIVES: Cherry Hill, N.J.
IMMIGRATION STATUS: In United States illegally.
OCCUPATION: Operates roofing businesses with his brothers.NAME: Serdar Tatar.
AGE: 23; Born in Turkey.
HOME: Philadelphia.
IMMIGRATION STATUS: Legal U.S. resident.
OCCUPATION: Works at a 7-Eleven store in Philadelphia.NAME: Agron Abdullahu.
AGE: 24; Born September 1982 in the former Yugoslavia. Ethnic Albanian.
LIVES: Buena Vista Township, N.J.
IMMIGRATION STATUS: Legal U.S. resident.
OCCUPATION: Works at a Shop-Rite supermarket.
They apparently were planning to attack the wide-open Fort Dix with rifles and grenades, primarily targeting U.S. soldiers. And let me tell you, Ft. Dix is not like the military in Iraq. The soldiers are not walking around with loaded weapons and security is either MP's with sidearms or civilian contract security people with very limited training (or a combination of the two).
This is what CT experts have been predicting - and fearing - for years: "cells" that are homegrown and completely independent from any type of external command. That means no overseas travel or phone calls to monitor. It means self-reliant, self-directed and probably self-financed. A small group of Jihadists with a "big picture" goal of destroying America. And absolutely zero chance of infiltration for HumInt.
They were caught because they screwed up. And some smart people were watching, God bless 'em.
Remember, we have to get lucky every time. They only have to get lucky once.
Will this be a wake-up call to the Democrats and the Bush Administration? Probably not. I'm afraid a lot more Americans are going to have to die before anyone in power does anything to protect this nation.

UPDATED: Here's something that you won't be reading about in the MSM: it seems that at least three of these scumbags entered the U.S. illegally through the sieve we call our border with Mexico. It also looks like they had been contacted on several occasions by L/E but "sanctuary city" policies kept the police from reporting them to ICE. The FBI thinks the operation was about to go forward.
And still not a word from the government about closing our borders...
